Chez Humbrol il existe quatre types de peinture.
Brillante (gloss)
Mat (Matt)
Satinée (Satin)
Métallique (Metallic)
Il est donc recommandé d'utiliser les peintures mat et métalliques pour les uniformes militaires et les véhicules.
Mais il existe aussi deux pots de vernis transparent qui sont très intéresants :
49 Matt varnish qui rend mat les couleurs brillantes
35 Vernis brillant qui rend brillantes les couleurs mates
(ex : lunettes, ronds visuels de masques à gaz, visière de casque de cosmonaute, etc...)
